On February 25th 2015, Global Futurizer landed in Barcelona for the first time. This edition was launched exclusively with ESDi School of Design, ascribed to Ramon Llull University.

For the first time instead of creating multidisciplinary teams involving a wide range of profiles of different majors, we focused on designers with different minors all of them within the same campus. In order to bring an extra profile, there were people from Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation degree of the Mondragon University held by Team Labs in Barcelona at MoB space.

Empresas participantes

The companies participating in this edition were cutting edge companies from very wide sectors what enabled a very “friendly” atmosphere and interactions among the participant teams and the different managers attending. The companies were Ferrovial (a comeback from last year), Mapfre, Repsol and Ashoka all very aligned with the concept of supporting students to develop further before graduation and learning different ways to innovation. All of them were to be in the next edition in Madrid with the very same challenges:

ferrovialHow could we innovate in elements and systems on the highways in order to improve drivers’ safety?

Ashoka

How could we inspire the education community to develop itself towards what the ChangeMaker schools are doing.

Repsol How could we build a differential value proposal for youth in the Gas Stations?

mapfre

How could we make Mapfre more appealing for youth?

Así, por primera vez, las empresas participaban en dos ediciones consecutivas con el mismo reto.
